At Boss, we strive to make positive contributions to society. One of the ways we do this is by sponsoring organisations, individuals and charities that positively affect the lives of everyday people. Below are some of the groups that we are delighted to be sponsoring in 2021.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SUPPORTING

Chaughada Progressive English School

The Boss Group is proud to sponsoring Lyn and Ben Covelli and the wonderful work they do for the Chaughada Progressive English School – Steiner School. As you may be aware, Nepal was hit by devastating Earthquakes in April and May 2015. Thousands of people were killed or injuries. It is estimated that more than 600,000 houses were destroyed, leaving hundreds of thousands of people living in temporary shelter, where many still are.

The village of Chaughada in the Nuwakot District was one of the hardest hit communities in Nepal. Upon seeing the devastation, Lyn and Ben Covelli decided to assist by establishing the Chaughada Progressive English School, a private, free and non-for-profit primary school.

Lyn and Ben, along with their generous donors, have funded the building of the school, and ongoing expenses, ensuring school uniforms, books and stationery are free for all of the children. In 2021, the Boss Group funded the construction of three additional classrooms. We are looking forward to seeing students start their education journey in these new classrooms!

Dylan Littlehales Paralympic Athlete

The Boss Group is a major sponsor of Dylan Littlehales, an Australian Paralympian in the sport of Paracanoe.

Currently ranked 4th in the world, Dylan has his sights set on representing Australia at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games.

Dylan was born with congenital fibula hemimelia which is a rare limb deficiency in his right leg. As a result, his limb grew much slower than expected and was missing crucial ligaments and some bone. Dylan has never used his leg as an excuse, always pushing forward to be the best.

At the age of 15, Dylan made his Australian debut at the 2015 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Sprint and Para-canoe World Championships in Milan, Italy.

Boss is proud to be sponsoring Dylan and wish him luck in Tokyo. Look out for the Boss Solar logo on Dylan’s paddle at any of his training days or regattas! Follow Boss on socials for updates.

Shitbox Rally

The Shitbox Rally challenges teams to drive cars worth less than $1,000 across Australia’s most formidable roads – all in the name of charity.

The Boss Group is proud to be sponsoring Daryl Brett and his team in this year’s spring rally as they raise funds for the Cancer Council. From the 22nd to the 28th of May, teams will be travelling from Alice Springs to Gold Coast via the Gulf of Carpentaria.

This isn’t a race you can win… its all about finishing and survival. There are prizes though! The main prize is awarded to the team with the most hopeless car, the best rally spirit and the highest donation amount.

Look out for the Boss logo on the team’s car and follow us on socials for updates. Good luck guys – we hope you make it!
