Austech is Australia’s premier Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tool Exhibition that took place from the 26th to the 29th of May 2015 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Many high profile manufacturers were in attendance, including Volgren Australia the country’s leading manufacturer of high quality aluminium buses with world leading design and technology.
Boss Polymer (parent company of Boss Solar) was acknowledged as a major local supplier to Volgren Australia, including supplying parts for their new fleet of double decker buses.
Established in 1977, Volgren Australia is the country’s leading bus bodybuilder with manufacturing plants in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
Volgren employs over 550 people across Australia and is rapidly growing as a result of their focus on safety, reliability and high environmental standards. The company is responsible for paving the path for the industry for the past 30 years; Volgren has set the standard for bus manufacture, design and safety.
Boss Polymer has been a part of this journey, supplying Volgren with many of the seals and rubber componentry used in their buses.
