Boss Polymer Technologies has recently adopted SAP Business One best practice solution software. Boss in collaboration with SAP; have been working hard to create an advanced Materials Requirements and Planning (MRP) system, tailored to their needs. Boss Polymers Production Manager, Everine Ludwick said customers on all levels will benefit from the streaming of operations and the reduction of inefficiencies that the SAP system will provide. “This new SAP system is designed to integrate with our customer order management systems, allowing us to increase the accuracy and speed of our communication.” The SAP MRP system eliminates data entry double handling, minimises costs and the occurrence of errors within the system. “Through its real-time functionality, the SAP MRP software is set to improve our demand forecasting. This will increase our ability to meet critical deadlines, material availability and support our capacity to address customer mandates.” The SAP MRP system will ensure an effective standardisation and restructuring of Boss operations, and services across different functional areas. “This is an exciting time for the Boss team,” Everine said, “we look forward to seeing how the system will allow us to optimise our service levels, and generate value for our customers”.
