Vac Rel Makes a Splash
The Boss Polymer Technologies VacRel® vacuum relief valve is
meeting a critical need in the swimming pool solar heating industry.
This innovative precision moulded product (patent pending) solves
problems inherent in existing designs. The Boss VacRel®:
Doesn't leak, eliminating roof or gutter corrosion warranty claims and the absorber does not crush - eliminating internal splits and leaks.
Mean cracking pressure (Air) 6.8 mbar 0.098 p.s.i
Test back pressure (Water) 10 bar 145 p.s.i
Boss VacRel® is made from premium grade materials to deliver long
trouble free life.
The high performance fluroelastomer umbrella check valve is made by elastomeric fluid control specialist Vernay Laboratories. It provides low vacuum break pressure and a rapid drain down.
The valve is protected from contaminants by a double air flow filter manufactured from 316 stainless steel mesh.
The tough BASF LurinS® mouldings are proven to withstand high positive and negative internal pressures and extreme weather conditions.
The unit is fully and quickly serviceable.
